What the current rules say
The official Department 520 history records amendments to Rules 520-1-.05 and 520-2-.04 filed August 17, 2026 and effective September 6, 2026. A separate 1993 entry uses the same month and day. The later entry must not be discarded because the dates look alike.
The current Maintaining a License rule keeps the CE totals described above. The Real Estate Courses rule addresses qualifying broker-education courses and the nine-hour CE credit for a first-year post-license course. An amendment's effective date does not replace a different start date written into a provision.
