What does the readiness check measure?
| Input | Why it matters | Main caution |
|---|---|---|
| Georgia accuracy | 52 of 152 scored questions come from the state supplement. | Generic national banks do not measure it. |
| National accuracy | 100 scored questions span 11 weighted areas. | An overall figure can hide one area. |
| Math accuracy | Setup errors need a different repair method from rule errors. | PSI publishes no single combined math count. |
| Questions answered | More fresh observations create a steadier estimate. | Repeated items inflate apparent mastery. |
| Days remaining | Determines whether to learn, repair, or consolidate. | Time remaining cannot compensate for an untreated gap. |
How the calculation works
The base score uses 45% Georgia, 35% national, and 20% math. Georgia receives extra diagnostic weight because it is 34% of the scored paper and is not covered by national-only material. The score is then reduced for a small question sample, one unusually weak category, and retake evidence that calls for a more cautious booking decision.
Those are study weights, not PSI scoring weights. They are printed here so you can disagree with the method and still understand it.
Evidence standards before booking
- Use fresh questions that you have not memorized.
- Collect results on more than one day.
- Include both national and Georgia material.
- Run at least one long mixed simulation for stamina.
- Review correct guesses as gaps.
- Repair the weakest official area, then confirm with a new set.
What the result cannot tell you
The current public bulletin does not publish a fixed passing percentage, does not state a salesperson duration, and warns that practice performance does not guarantee an actual outcome. This check cannot see question quality, outside help, memorized items, confidence, sleep, or exam-day conditions unless you account for them honestly.
Start with the 30-question diagnostic, use the 152-question simulation for stronger evidence, or open the retake recovery set if you already have a PSI score report.
