The Georgia real estate salesperson exam is a 152-question test administered by PSI at test centers across Georgia. You get $175 to sit, and it is built from two published outlines: 100questions of national material and 52 of Georgia law. That second outline is the one your national question bank never covered. The structure that decides your result
Two portions. You pass each one separately.
A strong national score never rescues a weak Georgia score. PSI grades the portions independently, and most first-time failures happen on the 52 Georgia questions, where BRRETA, security deeds, and Georgia closing rules punish national-only prep.

How many questions are on the Georgia real estate exam?
152 scored questions: 100 national and 52 Georgia-specific. Up to 10 unscored pretest items may appear in each portion, so your test may show as many as 162 items.
What score do I need to pass?
GREC does not publish a fixed percentage. Its rules say the minimum passing score is set by psychometric analysis and published before each administration, so any site quoting a flat 75% is quoting itself. Your result appears on screen when you submit, with subtotals for the national and Georgia portions.
How long is the Georgia real estate exam?
Both portions are taken in one sitting. The current bulletin does not state a time limit, so we are not going to invent one. PSI confirms your appointment length when you register, and unscored experimental items count against whatever time you are given.
How much does the Georgia real estate exam cost?
$175 per attempt, paid to PSI. If you fail, you register and pay the fee again. The licence itself is separate: $170 if you apply within 3 months of passing.
Can I use a calculator on the Georgia real estate exam?
A basic calculator is provided at the test center. Personal programmable calculators are not permitted. Confirm the current policy wording in the PSI Candidate Information Bulletin before exam day.
What happens if I fail one portion?
You register with PSI again and pay the $175 fee for each new attempt. Check your score report and the current bulletin for whether a passed portion carries over, and use the report's per-topic diagnostic to target your retake instead of restudying everything.
