What the report actually contains
- A result for each portion, separately. National and Georgia are graded with a subtotal each. The bulletin shows one total score with a pass or fail, and the two subtotals beneath it.
- A content-area breakdown. Performance across the 11 national and 3 Georgia areas, which is where the diagnostic value lives.
How to read it in three minutes
First, which portion failed. If it was Georgia, your problem is state-specific law and no amount of national practice will fix it. If it was national, the gap is usually breadth. If both were close, the issue is more likely wording and pacing than knowledge.
Second, which content areas sit lowest. Ignore the areas you passed comfortably, however satisfying they are to review. Your retake plan should touch the two or three weakest areas and almost nothing else.
Third, check the margin. Missing the Georgia pass mark by two questions is a different problem from missing it by twelve. The first is a fortnight of targeted practice; the second means the state-law content was never properly learned.
Why the margins are not symmetrical
The Georgia subtotal covers 52 questions, the national one covers 100. Weight your rebuild toward Georgia anyway. It is the material your course spent least time on and the material no national question bank covers.
