What is the current Georgia exam format?

What are the experimental questions?
PSI may add a small number of one to ten questions to help develop future examinations. They do not affect your score, but they count against examination time. The bulletin does not tell candidates how to identify them. Trying to guess which items are experimental creates more risk than answering all of them carefully.
How much time do you get?
The public July 1, 2026 bulletin does not print an exam duration. It confirms only that the screen displays minutes remaining and that the tutorial, up to 15 minutes, does not count as examination time. Check the appointment details PSI supplies and read the open-source question log before relying on a number copied from another state or an older bulletin.
What calculator can you use?
Use PSI's online calculator. Do not bring a handheld calculator, smartwatch, phone, or other electronic device. Practice basic operations on screen and write the formula on center-provided scratch paper, if issued, before entering numbers. The complete math guide teaches that setup-first method.
Are the national and Georgia questions mixed?
The current bulletin publishes two outlines and a score-report sample with two subtotals, but it does not state whether questions are interleaved or delivered in blocks. Prepare in mixed mode because topic recognition is a useful exam skill, but do not present a delivery order as official unless PSI confirms it.
How does scoring work?
The result appears on screen and a report is emailed. The sample Certification of Accuracy shows a total score with a pass or fail and national and Georgia subtotals. A failing report adds diagnostic information by examination type. The public bulletin does not state the numeric passing score or say that the subtotals must be passed separately.

Best format strategy
- Use the tutorial to learn the controls before the clock begins.
- Read the final sentence of each stem and identify what it asks.
- Watch for EXCEPT, NOT, BEST, FIRST, MOST, and timing words.
- Answer every question, including items that may be experimental.
- Flag long calculations, but leave enough time to return.
- Use the final review for flagged items and obvious reading errors, not to change answers from anxiety alone.
