The Rule
PSI publishes 16, 21, and 15 items for the three Georgia groups. It does not publish a guaranteed subtopic count. The statute, current GREC rule, contract, or other cited primary authority controls each lesson.
The lesson
Georgia questions reward the Georgia rule. A national rule that sounds right can still be the wrong answer when the question names a Georgia statute, document, role or procedure.
Post-license
The 25-hour first-year requirement belongs to the original salesperson license. It is not another 25 hours required in every renewal cycle.
Renewal CE
An active license normally requires 36 instructional hours in the renewal period, with at least three hours devoted to license law.
Broker CE
From July 1, 2025, broker-level licensees must complete 18 hours on broker education topics as part of, not in addition to, the 36-hour total.
Status consequences
Failure to meet education requirements can prevent active renewal or cause lapse. Reactivation can require catch-up education or requalification depending on the facts.

Worked Georgia example
Scenario. An associate broker completes 36 CE hours, but only 12 qualify as broker education and three qualify as license law.
Reason it through. The total and license-law minimum are satisfied, but the broker-education minimum is not. A course may sometimes qualify in more than one category, but the approval must show it.
Answer. The associate broker still needs enough approved broker education to reach 18 hours.
