The Rule
PSI publishes 16, 21, and 15 items for the three Georgia groups. It does not publish a guaranteed subtopic count. The statute, current GREC rule, contract, or other cited primary authority controls each lesson.
The lesson
Georgia questions reward the Georgia rule. A national rule that sounds right can still be the wrong answer when the question names a Georgia statute, document, role or procedure.
Twenty-four-hour wait
The July 1, 2026 bulletin says same-day licensing is unavailable and candidates should allow 24 hours after passing before returning for issuance.
Active choice
A salesperson seeking active status needs sponsorship documentation. Inactive issuance is possible without a sponsoring broker, but inactive status does not authorize brokerage.
Three-month threshold
The ordinary $170 license fee applies when the application is made within three months of the exam. After three months, GREC Rule 520-1-.04 requires a fee equal to two times the original application fee.
Twelve-month expiry
An examination result is not permanent. If no license is obtained within 12 months of the exam date, the result expires and the examination must be retaken.

Worked Georgia example
Scenario. A candidate passes on Monday, has no sponsoring broker, and wants to perform brokerage immediately after receiving an inactive license on Wednesday.
Reason it through. The wait concerns issuance. Inactive status is a separate limitation and does not permit brokerage activity.
Answer. The candidate may seek inactive issuance after the wait but cannot practice until properly activated under an active broker.

The higher fee applies to licenses obtained after three months but within that 12-month window. The late-fee answer is plausible because it matches the three-month rule, but 14 months is past the outer limit.
