Encroachment

A physical intrusion of a structure onto a neighbouring parcel, such as a fence or building crossing a boundary line.

How the exam uses encroachment

Distinguished from an easement, which is a right to use land, and a licence, which is revocable permission. Physical intrusion means encroachment.
