How do you separate the nearest exam answer?
CE maintains an active license through recurring renewal cycles. The 25-hour salesperson post-license course has a separate first-year deadline, but can count as 9 CE hours toward the first renewal.
What changes or stays the same in Georgia?
The renewal cycle must include at least 3 hours of approved license-law CE. Rule 520-2-.04(13)(a) allows 9 hours of first-renewal CE credit for the first-year post-license course, not 25 hours. Check the approved course credit rather than assuming this replaces the license-law component. Qualifying and associate brokers have additional broker-education requirements within their CE total.
