How do you separate the nearest exam answer?
Post-license education has a first-year deadline. CE follows a recurring renewal cycle. These are different requirements, but the approved 25-hour course can also count as 9 CE hours toward the first renewal.
What changes or stays the same in Georgia?
Rule 520-2-.04(13)(a) permits that 9-hour CE credit. Do not count all 25 hours as CE or assume the credit automatically satisfies the required license-law component. Missing the first-year deadline causes the salesperson license to lapse.
A salesperson is licensed on October 12 and schedules the approved 25-hour course well before the first anniversary rather than waiting for the four-year renewal date.
Do not apply the 36-hour continuing-education cycle to the first-year post-license deadline.
