Veteran preference points are 5 or 10 points that may be added to a qualifying Georgia real estate examination grade after an eligible veteran first receives a failing result and submits the required documentation on time.
How do you separate the nearest exam answer?
The preference is a post-result adjustment for an eligible applicant. It is not an easier exam, an automatic pre-exam credit, or a waiver of licensing requirements.
What changes or stays the same in Georgia?
The current PSI bulletin directs the candidate to submit the original score report and a copy of DD Form 214 within 60 days. Rule 520-1-.04 controls the 5-point and 10-point categories.
An eligible veteran receives a failing result, submits the required materials within 60 days, and receives a revised Certification of Accuracy only if approved points produce a passing result.
Preference points do not appear on the initial score report and are not guaranteed merely by prior military service.
